Synth Repair Services

Since I'm no longer part of Analog Sweden I'm offering my services for vintage synth repairs, if you had a repair done there over the past 20 months then you'll already know my work.

I'm offering very competitive rates and to get the ball rolling I will beat any competitors quote. So if you are in need of any kind of analog synth repair work drop me a line on info@dinsync.info and let me know what the problem is you are having. I'll get right back to you with my thoughts on what to do or how much it may cost to repair.

  7. hey, my Tb303 is playing cv notes to the sh101 but there is no sound from the unit (tb303). I have replaced the run/stop tactile switch years ago and did the same last year for a few buttons but I'm not sure about the volume/jack replacement.

    please advise

  8. hard to say James, it could be failed pots, you'd really need to crack it open and get an oscilloscope and probe starting and the output and workign your way back to see where it stops

  10. I *had* a mint-condition 101 (and 202 and 606) which I bought new on new year's eve 1984, but it suffered from two bonehead accidents: I forgot to park the sliders at base before leaving it alone for a few years and a burst water pipe filled it with water.

I'll pause while everyone gnashes their teeth.

The water was no problem, believe it or not, but the slider stupidity has left me with a scratchy performance control just when I feel like picking up the old girl and noodling again. People have suggested switch cleaner might bring it around but I'm not sure how to go about applying it as the sliders have a "dust guard" built in. I guess this is a "take the case off" thing?

I did the same bonehead "forget to park the controls" mistake with my also-mint portastudio too, and now have a scratchy pan pot for my trouble. This is what comes of moving out of a spacious flat into a small house to raise a family gets you.
